Release date and what to expect from the game Soulframe

From the studio that brought you the sci-fi world of Warframe comes a new magical fantasy action game called Soulframe.

Soulframe was announced at Tennocon 2022 at the end of the event. The release date still doesn’t have a release date as of today. The earliest possible date for game launch is 2023, but that’s still unlikely.

Gameplay

An interview by The Washington Post with Soulframe developers has revealed what unique gameplay is planned for the game.

“Where ‘Warframe’ is focused on shooting, this one’s focused on melee,” Sinclair said. “Where ‘Warframe’ is super fast and crazy high-speed, this one’s going to be a lot more slow and heavy. But it still has a lot of similarities to the genre that we have experience in.”

A fresh new take by the sci-fi-driven studio, taking a shot at creating a fantasy game. With the success of Warframe and the studio’s reputation for their creativity, we can be sure of another great new game.

The developers plan to use a few key elements from Warframe such as it will be a free-to-play open-world game, and it will also be an MMORPG game. Little is known about how the combat will work in the new game other than it will use melee weapons and that the fights are going to be “slow and heavy”.
